In our Pisa journey, the historic heart was a highlight, particularly the Piazza dei Miracoli, where the legendary Leaning Tower reaches skyward—a must-see destination easily spotted by travelers. Another treasure was the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Spina, a Gothic marvel along the Arno River, enhancing the picturesque riverscape. Our adventure also led us through the vibrant streets of Pisa, soaking in the local culture. Adding to our experience, we strolled down Corso Italia, the bustling main shopping thoroughfare, brimming with shops and boutiques—a perfect spot for visitors looking to indulge in some Italian retail therapy. These spots are not only significant landmarks but also easily accessible to all who wander through Pisa's ancient yet ever-lively lanes.

Parking: We discovered an affordable parking spot here.

Food: You'll discover plenty of places to eat throughout the city here. We had pizza to-go that was exceptionally tasty.

Internet: We purchased a Lyca SIM card with 300GB for approximately 15 Euro from here

Crowdiness: During our visit, the area around the tower wasn't very crowded, though finding a spot for a photo can be a bit tricky due to people posing with the tower.

Driving in the City: When driving in Pisa, exercise caution due to ZTL (Limited Traffic Zones) that extend beyond the usual old city center, appearing in areas where you might not expect them. Always be vigilant for signage indicating these zones. Additionally, be aware that gasoline prices in Italy tend to be quite high.
